59 people have already been detained at a protest rally in Armenia- Demonstration continues.

Governmental buildings are blocked. Opposition and demonstrators announce the launch of the velvet revolution.

 Citizens protest against  appointment of the former president Serzh Sargsyan on the position of the Prime Minister. They blocked the streets with chairs and rubbish bins.

In parallel to Yerevan, rallies are taking place in other big cities of Armenia. Protest rallies are held in Gyumri, Vanadzor and Kaplan.

Regardless of the protests, the Parliament session , where Serzh Sargsyan will be appointed is underway. The candidate has already addressed the MPs.
