State Security Service has prevented terror acts in the process of planning,- said Vakhtang Gomelauri, the head of the State Security Service while delivering a speech in regard to the agency"s activities in the parliament.

Vakhtang Gomelauri named terrorism as one of the main threats. According to him, a terrorist group has been identified and its actions were restored.

"An international terrorist group, working in the territory of Georgia and Georgian citizens, supporting them, have been revealed. According to the current information, terrorist group"s aim was to organize terrorist attacks in Georgia and Turkey, "Vakhtang Gomelauri said.
