A meeting of Abashidze and Karasin has ended. This was the first negotiation after the signature of the Customs Monitoring Agreement and the murder of Archil Tatunashvili.

According to Zurab Abashidze, Special Representative of the Prime Minister of Georgia for Relations with Russia, the issue of restoration of the railway was not discussed in any context.

"The issue of the railway was not discussed in any context," says Zurab Abashidze.

As for the murder of Archil Tatunashvili, Zurab Abashidze states that Karasin has mentioned that this is a sad fact and such things should not  be repeated.
