Syria has recognized the independence of so-called South Ossetia and Abkhazia - the so-called Ministry of Foreign Affairs of occupied South Ossetia and so-called President"s Administration of Abkhazia disseminates the information.

According to the so-called Foreign Ministry of Tskhinvali, the decision on mutual recognition of Syria and South Ossetia will come into force today.

The de facto president of occupied Abkhazia speaks about the agreement on establishing diplomatic relations with Syria as well.
