The President of Georgia will start consultations in the Supreme Council of Ajara within a few minutes. After meeting with the majority, Giorgi Margvelashvili will meet with the members of "United National Movement" and afterwards consult with other opposition party representatives.

Currently, the only candidate for the post of Chairman of the Government of Adjara is aDirector of Energy Development Foundation, Tornike Rizhvadze.

Davit Gabaidze, a Chairman of the Supreme Council of Adjara believes that the president will not nominate another candidate and he draws attention to Rizvadze"s experience.

The opposition does not support the candidacy of the majority. They are waiting for Giorgi Marvelashvili to nominate an alternative candidate.

Gia Abuladze, the member of the Faction "United National Movement" states that Bidzina Ivanishvili makes a personal decision regarding the appointment of the people.
