President met the members of the Supreme Council of Adjara and opposition parties

The President of Georgia holds consultations at Supreme Council of Adjara. Giorgi Margvelashvili has already met with representatives of "Georgian Dream" and opposition.

The meeting with "Georgian Dream" lasted for about 40 minutes. According to the majority, the president had not nominated his candidacy but had listened to the arguments, why Tornike Rizhvadze was nominated as the candidate of the Adjara government.

As for " United National Movement", MPs say that the president has listened to their assessments and position regarding the candidate nominated.

The National Movement has its own candidate, but he was not named today. They continue consultations but think that the president will support a majority candidate.

Zurab Pataridze left the position of the head of the government of Ajara on July 4, and in two days the majority of Adjara Supreme Council nominated Tornike Rizhvadze.
