It"s difficult to believe that the ruling party does not have a presidential candidate, - Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture, told journalists when asked whether the ruling team intends to support an independent candidate in the presidential elections.
"We, of course, have a lot of worthy persons who can achieve success in a competitive battle. The ruling party, which represents the main political force in Georgia, has a lot of such candidates who can be named for the post of president, but in the nearest future the party will make a final decison whether it names a candidate or not," Levan Davitashvili said.
