Zaal Udumashvili, one of the UNM leaders calls on the President of Georgia to announce the date of the presidential elections and allow all the participants of the elections to conduct a pre-election campaign.

"We call on the President of Georgia to timely announce the date of the elections and not do it depending on his own decision," - Said Udumashvili.

According to Zaal Udumashvili, the ruling party is split and it is confirmed by the fact, that they can not agree on a presidential candidate.

It is not clear whether the Georgian Dream will have a presidential candidate and how the ruling party will take part in the forthcoming elections. The consultations should be completed by the end of the current week.

Presumably, the president will announce a date of elections till the end of this week as well.
