After a reportage, broadcasted by " Saturday Courier" the Ministry of Internal Affair began an investigation in regard to fraud.
The case concerns extortion of money on the territory of the Russian consulate from Georgian citizens. Those willing to receive Russian visas still have to deal with the unbearable heat and stand in a queue. They are able to get a visa only in exchange for a certain amount of money.

"I have been waiting for a couple of months, I know nothing about money. "Said one of the women.

In front of the consulate, in a line are people, who want to travel to Russia and is waiting for a visa since May. They still don"t know when they will have documents.
