The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has released a statement regarding the anniversary of the August war. The Office notes that Russia has carried out military aggression against a sovereign country, and since then has violated international norms by illegal actions.
The Ministry also expresses its concern over the security situation in the occupied territories and the deterioration of human rights situation.
"In response to permanent provocative steps, Georgia is committed to the agenda of peaceful settlement of the conflict," the statement reads.
