Georgian ministers do not want to assess Salome Zurabishvili"s announcement that Georgia started a war in August 2008.

The Government officials refrain from direct assessment and speak only about Russian aggression.

According to the Georgian Defense Minister, the government has repeatedly stated that Russia has carried out a large-scale aggression against Georgia ten years ago.

"The Russian Federation carried out a large-scale aggression against Georgia ten years ago. As a result, 20% of our territory is occupied, "said Levan Izoria.

Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality says that she is not familiar with Salome Zurabichvili"s statement.
