The Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia responds to the consultations on the candidacy of the Chairman of the Supreme Court in the Presidential Administration.

Irakli Kobakhidze says that his expectations regarding current consultations are pessimistic, which he says is based on past experiences.

Chairperson of the parliament says Giorgi Margvelashvili appointed his staff at responsible positions in the court, which he said does not provide the basis for optimism.

However, Kobakhidze says that the parliamentary majority will be involved in the consultations.
