Senator John McCain dies at the age of 81

Influential American Senator John McCain died at the age of 81. He has been fighting against the aggressive form of tumor during the last year and stopped treatment two days ago.

John McCain served for 60 years to the United States. He was born on August 29, 1936 in a family of Maritime Admiral. He graduated from the Naval Academy and served as a military pilot for 22 years, including in Vietnam. The war hero spent 5 years in captivity. In 1982, he was elected to the House of Representatives in Arizona, from 1986 to the Senate. In 2008, John McCain was presidential candidate for the Republican Party, but lost to Barack Obama. Despite illness, he often criticized Donald Trump"s foreign policy and demanded tougher sanctions against Moscow.
