A day of Georgian peacekeeper is celebrated on August 31 in Georgia. The Defense Minister and the Chief of General Staff congratulated the militaries on international missions.

Levan Izoria addressed the peacekeepers stationed in Afghanistan, Mali and the Central African Republic via the live broadcast.

The Defense Minister and the Chief of General Staff laid the wreath on the memorial of the heroes fallen in a fight for Georgia"s territorial integrity and peacekeeping operations in the yard of the Ministry of Defense.
