"10 years after the war, humanitarian and security challenges are especially acute in South Ossetia and Abkhazia occupied by Russian policy," - State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili made statement at the NATO Commission meeting.
Tsikhelashvili provided information to the members of the Commission about the brutal killings, the separation of people by using the barbed wire fences and hindering the European integration of Georgia with propaganda methods.
The commission session, which was dedicated to the occupation, was opened by Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, together with the NATO Secretary General. The Alliance once again expressed support for Georgia"s territorial integrity and unity.
"I"ve talked about current humanitarian and security challenges in the occupied territories that people have been facing in the open occupation for ten years, especially on the examples of Tatunashvili"s tragedy, that this is unfortunate, the hardest expression pf the occupation.
We have received very clear support for territorial integrity and sovereignty today.
This support is not only Georgia"s support but also the support of the foundation of the civilized world, "said Tsikhelashvili.
