Two weeks before the presidential election, the NGOs have a decent scheme, how the government is trying to give the people and employees of the budgetary organizations to Salome Zurabichvili.
The Executive Director of the International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy, Mikheil Benidze, states that there have been obtained evidence, which reveal that the public officials are given the papers, which they have to fill in with personal data of their family members, who will surely vote for Salome Zurabichvili.
"This might indicate mobilization scheme of voters, which we saw for example in the last elections in Tbilisi," Benidze says.
Levan Natroshvili, the program manager of NGO "Transparency International Georgia" speaks about the use of administrative resources for election purposes. According to him, public officials are being oppressed by their heads.
Sulkhan Saladze, the chairperson of the Georgian Young Lawyers" Association calls on the ruling party to refrain from using administrative resources.
"We urge primarily the ruling party and the candidate, backed by them to refrain from using such methods,"- Saladze says.
