The President of Georgia addresses the Prime Minister with a request to hold a special session of the government. The President made a statement at today"s briefing.

The President plans to focus on effective functioning of state institutions, as well as the protection of citizens" rights and freedoms.

The president spoke about murder of teenagers on Khorava Street. According to him, there is a feeling in society that the weakening of state institutions is to the level that underlines effective protection of human rights, freedom and property b.

"I do not need political scores and I do not participate in elections, therefore I declare that we need to assess adequately the situation and take adequate measures,"- Giorgi Margvelashvili says.
