The ruling party responds to statements made by the presidential candidate Salome Zurabichvili at the meeting with ethnic Armenians. According to "Georgian Dream" representatives, Zurabishvili"s speeches are misinterpreted.

Turkish media has published an article of a political scientist, which states that Zurabishvili implements an order of separatists.

Eka Beselia, the chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee for Legal Issues says that Zurabichvili"s statement was not intended to stir up anger.

"I know that Salome Zurabichvili has not made any xenophobic statements and her remarks are misinterpreted," Eka Beselia said.
