The Health Committee demands withdraw the draft law on marijuana cultivation / export from the Parliament.

MP Levan Koberidze raised the initiative at the Health Committee meeting and asked the chairman to discuss the initiative at the sitting of the Parliament Bureau. The MPs link a decision with the election results.

As the initiator of the draft law is the government, the government should make a decision on withdrawal.

Natia Mezvrishvili, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs attended the sitting of the committee where the issue was discussed. The draft bill on marijuana cultivation is expected to be discussed at tomorrow"s bureau session.
