Nino Burjanadze has responded to the political crisis in the country with a special briefing. The leader of the "Democratic Movement" called on the government to appoint early elections.
Nino Burjanadze has stated that the government should make amendments to the election code and appoint early parliamentary elections before the second round of the Presidential elections.
According to her, before the six years of governance of Bidzina Ivanishvili and his team have led the country to the crisis.
"I would like to call on all political parties to respond to this statement and we should all categorically demand that, because early elections are inevitable, the authorities have to change the election code and election environment. I would also like to address the diplomatic corps, international observers, non-governmental organizations- yes, this actions should be carried out under your guarantees and categorical requirements, "Nino Burjanadze said.
