Members of the parliamentary majority do not distance themselves from irresponsible statements of their colleagues - one of the leaders of the National Movement Salome Samadashvili said.

According to her, MPs of the ruling party are trying to justify Gedevan Popkhadze"s statement that in case of the victory of Grigol Vashadze civil war will start.

"Aggression has increased towards the candidate and we see very irresponsible and very dangerous statements that are being made by the majority MPs.

We have seen that majority has no desire to distance themselves from the those statements that we have heard about the civil war and similar apocalyptic scenarios and it is a very dangerous for the state, "said Samadashvili.

Akaki Zoidze, a member of the parliamentary majority, says his colleague"s statement is interpreted and he has never said that civil war will start.
