A Prime Minister of Georgia speaks about a detention of Lasha Gogia, the former Mayor of Zugdidi and Head of Salome Zurabishvili"s election headquarters. Mamuka Bakhtadze denies any links between his detention and an outcome of presidential elections.
According to Bakhtadze, this is the prerogative of the investigative agency and the law enforcers have decided to arrest Lasha Gogia on the basis of relevant evidence.
"Before the investigation is over, I can not make legal assessments. The investigative bodies have started the process much earlier. Accordingly, what kind of connection can be between this and the first round of elections- none, "Mamuka Bakhtadze said.
