The discussion of the draft resolution on the fulfillment of obligations undertaken according to the Association Agreement by Georgia will begin in the European Parliament in a few hours.

As a result of today"s debates, it may be possible to make last amendments in the document, but the list of questions discussed in the resolution is already known.

How Georgia fulfills the obligations undertaken by the Association Agreement, the MPs will evaluate after discussing the kidnapping of Afgan Mukhtarli and the issue of media pluralism in Georgia - including Rustavi 2 case.

The resolution included Archil Tatunashvili"s murder and "Tatunashvili-Otkhozoria list ". In the report, in which 229 amendments have been introduced, Russia is referred to as an occupying country.

Separate points regarding the first round of the presidential elections and the use of alleged administrative resources are included in the report. The report highlights attacks of high-ranking officials about attacks on non-governmental organizations. It also emphasizes that poverty remains the most important challenge for Georgia.

After today"s debate, the voting on resolution will be held tomorrow at the plenary session.
