The parliamentary delegation attended the debates held in the European Parliament from Georgia. Majority MPs say they are satisfied with the assessments made by the European Parliament and their recommendations are acceptable. Tamar Chugoshvili, the Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, reported that one of the European Parliament members responded to the possible gender motives of the attacks on Salome Zourabichvili.
"Salome Zourabichvili became the object of a special attack on this election, the terms used against her such as traitors, etc were noted not only here but also in many other formats as inadmissible - . As for the gender component, politics is in general more hostile towards women. Ana Gomesh stated that the attacks on women are damaging for the country, "- said Tamar Chugoshvili.
