False IDs for the second round of elections - Prosecutor"s Office launches investigation into the information disclosed by NGOs.

The statement released by the agency says that the investigation has begun on the fact of the possible preparation of false ID cards for use or distribution.

" All investigative and procedural actions will be held in the shortest time in order to ensure the establishment of truth," the statement reads.

According to NGOs, the government is preparing for the second round of presidential elections.

According to the executive Director of GYLA , Irma Pavliashvili, one of the employees employed at the State Services Development Agency contacted the organization to inform that the false ID cards are being printed for the second tour. Fake IDs are intended to be used in favor of Salome Zurabishvili.
