Giving such explanations by the hotline of the Central Election Commission and by the DEC is a criminal violaton- said Levan Bezhashvili, member of the political council of the United National Movement.

According to the opposition, the CEC members in the regions give instructions that if the name and surname of the voter is indicated on the marked ballot, it will not be considered as a violation.

Levan Bezhashvili points to the CEC trainers and representatives
from Chkhorotsku and Martvili, according to whom commission members were instructed that the ballot paper where the voter"s name and surname is indcated will not be consdered invalid.

"We have two official messages, from which we know specific names and surnames. This is the trainer of the Central Election Commission of Chkhorotsku, Ms. Maia Gogua, as well as the chairperson of Martvili district, who trained the commission members, her name is Nino Danelia. We have specific cases when these people give such assignments to the PEC members and, moreover, our commission members received a similar explanation from the hotline of the Central Election Commission, "said Levan Bezhashvili.
