3 702 polling stations are counted, Vashadze is leading elections abroad


The Central Election Commission has counted 3 702 polling stations at this time. 59,54% of the votes voted for Salome Zourabichvili, a candidate backed by the ruling party, and 40.46% voted for United Opposition candidate Grigol Vashadze.

307 complaints are filed in the election administration.

"Number 5 , Grigol Vasadze - has received 779 614 votes, which is 40.46 per cent. Number 48 - Salome Zurabichvili has received 1 147 106 votes and which is 59.54 per cent, "- said Ana Mikeladze, the Speaker of Central Election Commission.

According to preliminary results of the second round of presidential elections, Salome Zurabishvili has 59.6%, Grigol Vashadze has 40,4%.
The CEC has already counted almost 100 per cent of the votes. According to preliminary data, the difference between candidates is almost 20 per cent.
