Tbilisi City Court ordered pre-trial detention for one out of the 8 persons detained in connection with the secret recordings, while the rest seven persons will be released on bail.

Judge Maka Gvelesiani only partly satisfied the prosecution’s motion. Pre-trial detention was ordered only for Zurab Solomnishvili, who stands accused of uploading a secret video to YouTube. His attorney disagrees with the decision and will appeal it within 48 hours.
"The position of the judge was absolutely unsubstantiated, even in the form of a preventive measure, in connection with the use of the most severe preventive measure," said Mukhran Ghurtskaia, a lawyer.

The bail amount is the following: Irma Khoroshvili - 10000 GEL, Inga Khoroishvili - 2000 GEL, Sergo Iremashvili - 5000 GEL, Giorgi Partsvania - 5000 GEL, Spiridon Surameli - 10000 GEL, Giorgi Kasradze - 5000 GEL, Badri Chopriani - 5000 GEL.

A total of 17 persons have been detained in connection with the secret recordings. Pre-trial detention was ordered for three out of them. According to the investigation, the above persons were keeping and spreading videos showing private life.
The court hearing was held in a partially closed mode by the motion of the prosecution.
