The so called Cables` case is the reason for a new scandal. The offense, which the Chairman of the Parliament has admitted live . The scandalous statement was made by the Chairman at the TV channel "TV Pirveli" yesterday. In Inga Grigolia"s program "Reaction", Irakli Kobakhidze said that he was personally acquainted with the case, which was classified.
"As for the case, I was already an executive secretary, this topic was politically motivated. I was interested to look into case and there were clearly a crime, it was about misappropriation of millions, "-Kobakhidze said.
According to the Chairman of the Parliament, somebody has misappropriated millions but it was not those people who have been detained by the investigation. The perpetrator has not been held responsible.
This statement of Irakli Kobakhidze once again indicates that the case was politically motivated and the Chairman of the Parliament got acquainted with the materials which the attorneys had access only partly in the building of the Prosecutor"s Office.
