The Minister of Internal Affairs has a new deputy. Director of the Central Criminal Police Department, Vladimer Bortsvadze, the Vice-Colonel of the Criminal Police was appointed on this position.

Vadim Bortsvadze"s career started in 2006 with the internship at General Prosecutor"s Office. Bortsvadze worked on different positions in Chief Prosecutor’s Office.

From 2013 to 2016 Vladimer Bortsvadze worked on different positions at the State Security Service of the Chief Prosecutor"s Office of Georgia,the SSPS, The Intelligence Service. He was a Deputy Director of the Supervision Department of Procedural Management and Operative-Investigative Activities at the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs .

In 2016-2018 she was director of the same department at the Chief Prosecutor"s Office of Georgia.
