The civil sector appeals to the ambassadors regarding the difficult situation in the judiciary system. The open letter states that "a narrow group of persons controlled by the High Council of Justice is doing everything not to improve the judiciary but to strengthen their power."
The civil sector believes that the only solution is the resignation of the clan members and supported by them 11 members. The civil sector offer diplomats a face-to-face meeting and providing information in details.
"Unfortunately we are asking only the resignation because it is impossible to communicate with these people in other form, they do not understand any remarks, they think that everything is fine," said Mamuka Akhvlediani, chairman of the NGO "Center for Justice Development".
Representative of the Human Rights Center and former Public Defender Ucha Nanuashvili says that it is necessary to raise the question of accountability of those responsible for judicial reform.
