Gudushauri Clinic responds to the statements made by Giorgi Mamaladze"s lawyers and his family members regarding his transfer to Gldani prison hospital.
Marina Gelantia, the First Deputy Director General of the Gudushauri National Medical Center, denies information that the transfer of the deacon was the result of the pressure from the penitentiary establishment
"There was no pressure, no pressure from the guards," says Gelantia. According to Marina Gelantia, as a result of the consultation, the health condition of Giorgi Mamaladze was assessed as stable and therefore, the decision was taken to discharge him.
"There were several consultation in which not only the Clinic specialists , but also the leading specialists of this field in the republic took place. A proper diagnosis was established. The patient"s health condition was evaluated at this point as stable and he was discharged from the clinic, "- Gelantia said.
Dean Giorgi Mamaladze was transferred from Gudushauri Hospital to Gldani Prison Hospital. Giorgi Mamaladze was diagnosed with a stroke on February 15 at Gudushauri Clinic.
