One of the leaders of United National Movement Davit Kirkitadze is released from the prison. The decision was announced by the Judge of Gurjaani District Court.

The prosecutor"s office signed a plea bargain. The prosecution appealed to the Gurjaani Court with mediation to find Kirkitadze guilty and sentenced him to a two-year suspended sentence.

The defendant and his lawyer agreed on conditions of a plea bargain.

Davit Kirkitadze is accused of attacking a policeman, resistance and damage of the equipment owned by the Interior Ministry during the Velitsikhi incident on December 16.
