The Prime Minister of Georgia claimed the Estonian and Lithuanian authorities had been tasked with staging a provocation by imposing sanctions on Georgian officials, including him.
“The Estonian and Lithuanian Governments were tasked with staging a provocation against Georgia. The relevant forces expected that we would follow this provocation, but we didn’t, and we remain in a unilateral friendship mode with these countries.
No matter what statements, we will maintain this one-sided friendship, based on the traditional ties between the Georgian people and the Estonian and Lithuanian peoples. Therefore, our position will remain unchanged”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
