The Council of Europe expect that the ruling party will be ready to held elections of 2020 in a proportional system. Such statement made Christian Urse, the Head of the CoE office in Georgia.

According to Urse, the he welcomes the conduct of the elections in a proportional manner.

"The Council of Europe welcomed July’s initiative to move to a proportional system. We expect the ruling party to be ready for the proportional system in October 2020”, - said Urse.
