Police detained Turkish citizen T.T. (date of birth - 1988) in Batumi for violence against spouse and failure to comply with requirements with restraining order.

Committed crime envisages up to 2 years of imprisonment.

Investigation established that detainee did not fulfill requirements stipulated in the restraining order issued for psychological violence against his spouse N.T. (1981). Detainee verbally and physically assaulted his wife as well.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of non-compliance with requirements of the restraining order, article 1261, I part and article 111-381, I part envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
