Within the frames of an official visit to the People’s Republic of China, the Head of the State Security Service of Georgia Geka Geladze held a meeting with the Head of the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Naghiyev.

The parties discuss contemporary challenges facing international security and current situation in the region amid growing global threats. The heads of the security services of the two countries emphasized the strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan and reiterated their readiness to deepen cooperation between the respective agencies.

The meeting between Geka Geladze and Ali Naghiyev took place within the framework of the Global Public Security Cooperation Forum held in China, in the city of Lianyungang.
