Dea Kulumbegashvili’s film “Beginning” wins Trieste International Film Festival, Italy.

The awarding ceremony took place online and was headed by Trieste Festival Artistic Directors Nicoletta Romeo and Fabrizio Grosoli. The jury member Paulo Berollini presented the festival’s award for the Best Film.

Kulumbegashvili joined the ceremony online from Tbilisi.

The short film Beginning’ was selected at 2020 Cannes International Festival. Due to the pandemic, the film was shown later within the framework of a special edition.
