The so-called trial of illegally detained Zaza Gakheladze will take place in occupied Tskhinvali today.

 33-year-old Georgian citizen was detained by the occupation forces on July 11 near the dividing line. Gakheladze is accused of illegally crossing the-called border and opening fire on “border guards”. He was wounded during the illegal detention.

In December 2020, the court of occupied Tskhinvali extended Gakheladze’s detention for 2 months.
