The officers of the Main Division for the Fight against Illegal Drug Circulation under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative and investigative activities detained V.G. (DoB 1988) for drug-related crime on Rustavi highway.

Based on the court decision, as a result of the personal search of the detainee, law enforcers seized 2 packages of “Heroin” drug and cash as evidence.

In the process of investigative activities, person accompanying the detained person – E.M. (DoB 1986) offered resistance to the law enforcement officers and ignored rightful demands of police, owning to which he was detained under the Code of Administrative Offences, article 173.

Investigation against V.G. in in progress under the article 260 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
