All three accused of assaulting Vakho Sanaia were sentenced to imprisonment

All three arrested for assaulting journalist Vakho Sanaia - Suliko Sakevarashvili, Giorgi Sakhelashvili and Vazha Gigauri - were sentenced to imprisonment as a measure of restraint.

The Prosecution requested detention as a measure of restraint against the detainees, while the defense demanded the release of the detainees on bail.

With this decision, the court fully approved the motion of the Prosecutor’s office.

The detainees do not plead guilty.
