MPs got acquainted with the specifics of the Defense Institution Building School activities, long-term, short-term and distance education programs, cooperation with international partners and the school staff.

After the presentation, which was made by the school principal, Tea Nikolashvili, and the Deputy Minister of Defense, Rati Bregadze, the meeting continued in a question-and-answer mode, after which the MPs inspected the material and technical base of the DIBS.

“The Defense Institution Building School is the most important initiative in the full implementation of the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package and one of the best examples of practical cooperation between the Alliance and our country. In the process of integration of our country into the Alliance, the school has an important mandate, which aims to promote professional and institutional development in the Ministry of Defense, as well as defense transformation, security sector reforms, and deepening cooperation between Georgia and NATO allies”, - said Irakli Beraia, Chairman of the on Defense and Security Committee/Trust Group.
