The educational process has been suspended in 25 kindergartens in Tbilisi.

According to the Kindergarten Management Agency, the upbringing process got triggered by the confirmation of COVID-19 cases.

8 out of 25 establishments did not open on March 1, while 17 kindergartens closed because of confirmed cases after opening.

“According to the regulations, as soon as the fact of infection is detected, the administration of the kindergarten will contact the parents of the children and inform them about the termination of the upbringing process. The kindergarten building is being disinfected, and after the expiration of the relevant isolation period, the facility will resume work”, - reads the Kindergarten Management Agency.
