The first doctor in Kutaisi - cardiac surgeon Nika Vashakmadze - was vaccinated with AstraZeneca vaccine.

The vaccination process is underway at the Interventional Medicine Center. Only ten doctors are registered at the clinic at this stage.

There are four vaccination centers in Kutaisi, 15 will work in Imereti. In other municipalities vaccination centers will start to work on March 17.
