Public Registry did not register Soso Tkemaladze as the president of the Rugby Union

The Public Registry didn’t register the results of the Rugby Union (RU) presidential election.

The reason is the defect observed at the congress.

As the Public Registry says, based on the RU charter, the issues approved at the previous congress (December 30) were to be discussed at the latest congress.

However, this did not happen - but some issues that were not even part of the agenda of the December 30 congress were discussed.

According to the Public Registry, the new president of RU Soso Tkemaladze and the board have 30 days to correct this defect.
