Police detained a former convict- N.T., (DoB 1986), as a result of operative-investigative activities on the charges of inflicting severe health damage on purpose.

The committed crime envisages from 3 to 6 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that on April 4 of the current year, the accused person, in the yard of his residential building in Rustavi, inflicted stab wounds with a cold steel to his neighbor - GM, (DoB 1978) on the basis of conflict and fled the scene. The victim was transferred to the hospital, where he is undergoing relevant treatment at the moment.

The investigation on the fact of inflicting severe health damage on purpose is in progress under the article 117 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
