Businessman Davit Kodua to be officially charged today. Police have detained him yesterday for domestic violence.

Kodua’s wife Natia Gedevanishvili said that there was a verbal dispute between her and her husband and that she has not been physically assaulted by him.

“I called 112 so that the conflict would not escalate into violence, though I had no desire for my husband to be detained. I asked for a restraining order to avoid possible violence”, - added Natia Gedevanishvili.
