The Immunization Council on Friday will decide whether to use the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine before it gets the final approval of the World Health Organization or not.

The Head of the National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health Amiran Gamkrelidze will present his opinions at the Council meeting.

A consensus is needed for approval of this vaccine.

Immunization with Chinese Sinopharm and Sinovak has already started and is being successfully performed in up to 50 countries.
