Landslide in the village of Jabeshi - 15 families to be cut off from the outside world

A landslide occurred in the village of Jabeshi. As a result, 15 families are cut off from the outside world at the moment. The geologists are expected to arrive on the spot today.

According to the existing information, evacuation of the population is not planned.

“Landslides have been going on for a week as a result of heavy rains and melting snow. Heavy equipment is here, measures are being taken so that nothing happens to the population. Evacuation of the population is not planned, however, some of them decided to leave on their own”,- explained Nino Vibliani, First Deputy State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti.
