The European Union agreed to open its borders to vaccinated travelers after more than a year of severe restrictions on travel into the bloc, a spokesman said Wednesday.
Christian Wigand did not say immediately when the change would take effect. A formal final approval is still necessary, but the measure’s passage is not in doubt.
Tourists who will be vaccinated with Sinopharm, Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca vaccines will be able to travel to European countries.
